This is to notify you of an incident in Uganda. It has been escalated to UKJ, and their partners have informed us that Uganda imposed an internet shutdown starting on 13 January ahead of the elections. The MTN network service remains unavailable. However, on the second available network, Airtel, service was partially restored as of the 18th.

We are currently awaiting feedback from our partners regarding the expected timeframe for when these operators plan to fully restore data services.
