AirOn360 IoT Suite 2G Sunset in United Kingdom-airon360 iot suite

Description: Dear Customer,

As previously communicated, since 1st October 2025, O2 has withdrawn inbound roaming services on their 2G and 3G networks.

3G roaming will no longer be available anywhere in the UK – O2 is the last UK operator to support it.

2G roaming in the UK will remain possible only on Vodafone and EE, depending on your SIM roaming profile.

This change is part of O2’s broader efforts to focus on more efficient 4G, 5G, and LPWAN technologies.

In addition the following networks will withdraw 2G inbound roaming by 31st December 2025:

Bangladesh – GrameenPhone

Czech Republic – Vodafone

Hungary – Vodafone

Iceland – Siminn

Israel – Pelephone

Israel – Orange

Nigeria – MTN

    UKJ SIMs Connectivity UKJ Incident Notification - NEW-ukj sims connectivity

    Description: Dear customer,

    UKJ has informed us that they are currently experiencing a high volume of requests, which is causing delays in SIM provisioning. Please note that all provisioning requests submitted through the API or IoT Suite will be completed; however, processing times may be longer than usual. Requests are processed in sequence based on submission time, and the sequence cannot be adjusted.

    Activation, termination, sendSMS, and other SIM management functions may experience delays in completing.

    Connectivity and data transmissions for devices are not impacted.

    UKJ SIMs Connectivity 09102025 UKJ Incident Notification - NEW-ukj sims connectivity

    Description: Dear customer,

    This is to inform you that we are experiencing issues with data connectivity on UKJ SIMs. Due to congestion on the carrier’s core network, some devices may experience delays or failures when attempting to attach to LTE networks. Subscribers already attached should remain unaffected. Where available, devices may fall back to 2G/3G service, which continues to operate normally. SMS and data services over 2G/3G are not impacted. SMS over LTE may experience delays.

    The cause has been identified, and steps have been taken to ease congestion.We are working closely with our carrier partner to resolve this as soon as possibe.
